Believe it or not, I was actually in the school choir and naturally I have a brilliant singing voice when I'm home alone! haha So how come I don't seem to have the same pitch as others?
I've noticed over the years (particularly at weddings and funerals) that my voice is too high to sing with the men and too low to sing with the ladies; which means I usually abstain, and therefore look bolshy and rebellious :(
Well, today I found someone I CAN sing along with, who has the same pitch as me (or me he) and it's Gary Barlow of all people! lol I seem to be able to reach all his low notes without effort, AND I can reach his high ones without feeling the muscles in my throat painfully contracting as they do when I try to warble along with the female of the species.
So .... abnormality of the voice box .... TAKE THAT!
